Subject: Quick and dirty basketry

It occurred to me that the method we discussed earlier for a geodesic dome would work for any lattice-type structure and provide a quick way to model a basket, cage, Eiffel tower etc... Mark

Yeah, man. You could do basket 1, duplicate with symmetry as basket 2, then intersect it with basket 1 to enhance the weave effect. Those crumpled papers are also nice work - how did you do them?

Thanks! Good idea, mateo_sancarlos; duplicating with symmetry would give a better weave effect. For the paper I added a grid in the VM, then moved around the vertices to scrunch it up a bit. Mark
