Check out the following thread....xantor was kind enough to post the dials that mimic looks for in a character.

The daz Pixie isn't mimic ready. i suppose I should add that to his morph list, eh?

All you need to make ANY poser figure mimic compatible is the head morphs for the mouth. You could try making the morphs yourself though that can be tricky. The names of the morphs have to be exactly the same as the list for these morphs to work with mimic.

Well, since I'm working on a big morph pack for the pixie, I might as well throw in the facial morphs needed. Seems something that would make sense, and that people would expect. Since it looks like Daz will be carrying the expansion pack, they will probably want me to add the mimic morphs anyway... or don't they recommend things like what should be in a morph pack?

Maybe daz just didnt think of it. The blink morphs and side to side etc are just for expressive speech and you dont actually need them. I have always had trouble making blink morphs for characters...

I just did eyelids closed today for the Pixie.. it takes some time, but is managable.

You have to make seperate left and right eye blink morphs for it to be mimic compatible.

Yeah I read that. That doubles the work for that morph, too. If I as the modeler's creator, it wouldn't be as bad, because you can always do the morph before you subdivide a model. Course, I could always do mimic compatability down the road, if people really need it. Don't have it here myself, and no real need or desire for it either.

Seems like DAZ, the owner of Mimic, would almost require that feature be built into any figure sold there. shrug

That's what'd you'd think, but it hasn't even been mentioned to me. It sounds like the eye blinks are an option, so I'll probably work on the mouth expressions.
