Hi Im new to vue, and have tried to load a sample scene or load an object, but they are .prv and wont let me load them can someone help me please!! :) Phil

Hi, Unfortunately Vue willnot import *.prv files. There is a list of files that are compatable on page 92 of the user manual. James

I beleive that they are POV Ray file....Not totaly sure tho. James

.prv files are where vue stores preview images of materials, atmospheres, color maps, etc.
There's a .prv for every "collection" of such resources. (So, you'll see one in most directories).

kongorilla is right. Vue's *.prv files are the previews of the collections. prv=priew, as vegetation.prv, object.prv, material.prv, function.prv and so forth. Vu e's objects you can load have the extension "vob", scenes have the extension "vue"...

well.... ive only got the prv fils and none of the object or sample pictures so........ im done for....lol :( Phil

If you have purchased Vue, you also have the extra CD:-)
