There was a site a couple of years ago that had some German tanks and stuff. It was linked from the site that Greg Crowfoot had but his site closed and I can't find the link. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you thinking of "World War II 3D", the one with the P3 Nazi stuff by Tyrell & Greg? Thanks .. I was thinking of that one Nance .. there was a link from that site to one that had free downloads of tanks etc. Thanks lelionx .. I will have to see if I can find something that will import lightwave files.
