the buildings are custom made, the set in the background are available in my city4.obp on my site in the Bryce/Objects section, the smaller buildings-3 of them in are in the 3d Models section(Misc3-4) of my site-firestation,comicshop, convienance store. My machine is a PII400 clocked @448 with 384 meg of ram.

FastTraxx, Looks really good! Might try some boolean excavations and terrain piles of borrow. BTW Are you using dxf'ed imports, Bryce internally booleaned cubes, or grayscale terrained walls? If things get really tight for you, the latter two methods could drop a lot of megs. I had an eight segment of palm frond from TreePro brought into Bryce via dxf to soften the eave of a native hut. After replicating it to 280 objects and 1.2 million polys to cover the roof edge, the file size rose from 550k to 280 megs! I ditched all of this, did a frond tip with double lattices and re-replicated and re-positioned the substitutes. File size went from 550k to 660k. So much for dxf imports. Good luck and let us see the finished item, manowar
