I've had animations of 2,000+ frames (built at 500 frames per time and added, one after the other) with no problem. Unfortunately, Poser can only display a count for the first 999 frames - that's all the space that the counter allows. But, the missing frames are still there, at the end of the animation - it's just that you need to use the arrow to get to them as the counter doesn't go that high. Paul

Something for the Poser 5 wishlist or for an update -- 4 digit counters.

The answer I have seen from professional animators is that you should not use any scenes that long. To quote one "You're not Alfred Hitchcock, and Rope wasn't done in one take anyway." Use shorter scenes and edit them together in Premiere or another editor. They probably will make the counter longer, but it still doesn't mean it is a good idea.

I think the counter stop at 999 but the animation go further. I am using it with new animation from credo and they goes really further than 999 but I can see everything even if the counter does not show more. Claude
