I have several important job-related Bryce files, that have damaged resource forks. The files range around 225 megs. Their icons are clearly identifiable as Bryce4 (not generic), yet upon attempting to open, the warning message arises and the opening attempt ceases. I have tried to open a new Brcye file and the damaged file in Microsoft Word, in order to copy the "assumed" intro, id fork from one to another, but the damaged file is so large, it can not be saved. Is this something that one can do in Res-Edit? What specifically identifies the resource fork within the file text and are resource forks identical per program files? TIA manowar
