Technically, done. I'll take this and make low-res versions of it for scenes where it is far way. And, there are some shots where it is VERY far away, lol... I'll probably give the base something more, It look boring right where the cylinder base touches the ground... AS

Great piece of work AS!

Looking good AS, I'd add a load of pipe work or support brackets to brake up the ground entry, also dirt would tend to build up so it may be worth raising the terrain or adding a small terrain so that the base is stacked with dirt. The only other thing that looks a little odd is that the door numbers are different ways up, there again, maybe be that's only me!

Looks fantastic. As usual, your texturing is superb.

It does look great, the textures are perfect! But how would you get UP there?

This looks excellent AS.... your texturing is awesome. 8) Wade

Heartily agreed! Wonderful work! For the base, I would probably suggest a flattened, truncated cone. No idea why. I just think it would look better. :p

Lol, yes, a way in. The client had wanted an exterior elevator, until it was going to be time prohibitive. Plus, the cargo door/elevator turned out big enough, he told me it would be fine for the humans also. But, yes, we need a door on the column. I have some more time for that, since the first render was from WAY above, looking into the crater, and the pads were quite small. The numbers are reversed to allow recognition from different directions from the air, but I'll admit it does look a little strange, I may change that. "flattened, truncated cone" - Exactly what I was thinking. ;o) AgentSmith
