If I want to modify let's say a hair prop in 3DS, I export from poser as Obj, modify in 3ds and export again as Obj to open in P5. What parameters should I use (vertex size or other) in order to have the prop back in the same size?

Before you do anything, get yourself a free utility in here in freestuff called objaction scaler. It helps with the export and import into 3ds. If you don't use the scaler 3ds sometimes moves your obj centres, making the re-imported obj act strangely sometimes. The scale between 3ds and poser is roughly 1/100, but there is not 100% agreement on this, but it's close enough to work with.

Got the scaler, I'll try to see if I can make it work

You can also get the Habware plug-ins for Max. Make sure you get the right one for your version of max or it'll crash. There are 2 - max2obj for export and obj2max for import. I don't have the exact settings, but they've been posted in the poser forum billions of times. mac
