I have been working with my model of a spacehabbitat, but have problems getting texturers on the terrains to look good.

depends on the scale, I suppose..this could be forests, could just be fungus..where are the spatial janitors when you need 'em?..;) keep it going..

I think it's an awesome render... The materials are just fine! The lighting is great, but perhaps some more focus on the forest/fungus area to give them definition...

That is an awesome looking tower/truss. Are we looking down or up?

This is on the inside of a cylinder made with booleans. What way we are looking neither up or down, its more sideways along the axis it's spinning.
The habbitat is spinning to generate gravity so down from the center and outwarads.

I was thinking that it's quite big, maybee with a radius of 1 km or more.
I think I have to make the lights that gives light to the habbitat visible they are in the center of the structure.

It reminds me of the Rama books, and looks really good although some definition on the vegitation areas would help I think. You could try putting terrains or lattices at various points in the vegitation to give it a more 3D feel. 8) Catlin
