Hi All, This is the first time I've been on the forum as I haven't been using the site very long, so hello everyone. I'm busy trying to create my first photo realistic texture for Michael 3, but I've noticed that I cannot remove the black line around the inner part of the eyes. Also there's a little problem with the Trans Map for the eyelashes and from the included picture some of it shows up black as well, even when I have changed the diffuse colour to blonde. The texture is for a fair complexion and the black eyeliner just doesn't look right. Can anyone help me out? TIA Steve

If M3 is like V3 their should be an eye socket material. Try making that light. Also turn of shadowing for the eyeball might help. Also check the texture your using and see if the eye area is black. If so then set that to skin color on the texture. Hope that helps.

Part of the problem may be the way the M3 EyeSocket material is UV mapped. Here is the EyeSocket UV map shown over the M3 high res texture. See the part on the right? That is part of the eye socket but it gets it's texture from the part of the face just to the right of the eye area. That part that sticks out is the part of the eye socket on the edge near the lacrimal. So whatever texture you have in that part of the face is actually duplicated in the corner of the eye socket. Also, because of the angle of the eye socket, it will tend to be shadowed, so have a darker edge.
