Hi, I bought Poser 5 about a month ago and am now starting to get the hang of cameras, lights and animation. Clothing is still a challenge for me. None of this has to do with my current question. Does anyone know of a list of keyboard shortcuts for P5 on Windows? Thanks BrainsGuy

A list of shortcuts is printed on the back of the quick reference card that comes with the boxed version. Not sure how its covered in downloadable version (if there is one).

Rats. So is there any way to navigate the Libraries by the keyboard? I'm not holding out much hope. Thanks BrainsGuy

Open your galleries label, and select a category i.e. figures. Click in the small "figures" box(under the big one)and a new menu pop up. U can use arrows and keys in this new one

Thanks much for all the feedback. Personally, if I'm goig to click to get a menu I might as well spend the next .5 seconds navigating with the mouse. Oh well. BrainsGuy

Ctrl-Alt-Del It's the one you'll use most when it locks up ;) (waiting impatiently on SR4)

VERY IMPORTANT
Even though the shortcuts keys are listed on a quick-referemce guide (and on each menu item), most DO NOT WORK when you are on the floating "parameters" palette. I personally have sent e-mails to Curious Labs' tech support about this lack-of-feature- this was an issue when P5 first came out and the issue is still not fixed in the latest service packs.
Ctrl-S (save), Ctrl-Z (undo), Ctrl-R (render) all work fine, but Ctrl-; (side camera), Ctrl-3 (mesh view), Ctrl-T (top camera), etc do not work.
To get the shortcuts to work properly, you must click off the parameters palette (to give "focus" to Poser), then hit the shortcut key, then re-position the mouse over the dial you were just using.
Maybe this issue will get fixed in P6...

Yes, the focus thing is ENORMOUSLY irritating. Talk about sloppy programming, sigh.... :] Fish

AAaah So THAT's the reason. I have been pulling my hair out about those camera shortcuts. Sometimes they work but most of the time they don't. So it's a FOCUS thang :oD Thanks for clearing that up :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Oh, good--it's not just me that this irritates. I just posted a big rant about this in another P5 thread. :-)
