I've discovered this since I updated to the latest version of P4: When I install files that I download (freestuff, bbay, etc.), I often don't install the texture maps. Or if I do, I usually store them someplace else than where the creator has designated. This is mainly because Poser is installed on my F drive, not on my C: drive as is the default. In earlier versions of Poser, when I'd done this and then try to load the character or prop, Poser would look for the texture map and when it didn't find it, it'd tell me that it couldn't find the texture and should it continue to look. I'd click "no" and the figure would load without any texture information. I could then save it to my library, with or without textures. Now, however, that message asking if it should continue doesn't come up. I actually have to open the task manager (W2K) and end the task to stop Poser. I then have to manually go into the cr2 or pp2 file and either remove all instances of the texturemap or bumpmap or make reference to where I've actually put the file. Does anyone else have this problem? It's kind of a hassle, especially when I forget. When I end the task, my pz3 file doesn't save of course. Thanks! JetM
