Hello, This is for all the texture mapping experts. I am converting some P4 male texture for Michael and am having a hard time getting the seams to match up. I end up with off color front/back, head/body, etc. Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thanks, hdrider

I don't have Michael, but I'd bet he's mapped somewhat differently from the P4 Dude. You might want to take him and the p4 dude into UVMapper, and save out the UVMap BMPs, then load them into your paint program and compare where they differ. Regards- Lemurtek

An easy way is to use a clone tool to texture the border of front/back with a common source and then blend towards the center. The compulsive way would be to take Mike into Painter3D and do a rainbow along the seams to see what matches where. But a good clone tool is a key in any case. P4 textures do not often match all that well either.

Hello, Thanks for the tips. I think the problem is in the polygon counts. Michael and Victoria have more so the texture maps are "stretched" out a bit. I guess it will probably be just trial and error getting the seams to match up. Still working on it, hdrider
