Just trying to find the best fairly generic D&D setting for a piece and would appreciate any help in locating one. Most of the parts I have just don't mesh with what I am looking for since they are too specifically castle or dwarven out outdoors. Any help would be appreciated .. Thanks

I dunno...all I remember back from my dungeon-crawling days was grey stone in convenient 10' increments. A few iron-bound wooden doors and the ubiquitous chest. That generic enough for you?

Yup... a dungeon laid out with popsicle sticks at the range of our torches... an opening might have stairs or might have a sudden drop... a character sheet, some dice and a box of popsicle sticks were enough to create a world. 1978. I still have that character. :) The problem is that dungeons are full of traps (especially if the DM has copies of all the Grimtooth books), and models of medieval castles tend not to have much beyond the portcullis at the entry and a torture chamber or prison cells below. Even if you don't want deadly traps, you'll still need disorienting features such as slippery slopes and pitfalls and revolving doors to keep your delvers busy and separated and away from the treasure. The underground lake is always a nice bonus. Carolly

Yep .. I am basically looking for a nice dark corner of grey wall with torch holders and stuff but most of the thing areas lack something ... Transpond comes the closest if you take a snippett out of one of the sets but they just are lacking something in this case.

RK Dungeon sold here in the market place looks pretty good. This is an old test picture from an animation I was working on sometime ago. The flames are JesterCGIs modified by me for Poser 5. (Still not as good as they looked in Poser 4). Sorry about the size I don't have anything to reduce it on the my laptop at work.
