Working on a picture yesterday, I discovered that clone stamp, smudge and blur would not work! After an hour of fiddling about, I checked the brushes and realised that some custom brushes I had created were still loaded. More in hope than expectation I reset the brushes and the problem cleared. Obviously a conlict in the prog somewhere. Just thought I'd pass it on to save others an hour of head banging!

I was gonna' tell you to "reset" your brushes... sometimes that happens, as well as when the cursor and the actual point of drawing differs (off by a few pixels).
