I'm having a problem that I am wracking my brain on. There is a strange "black" mark that shows up on both sleeves that is not on the texture, nor is it on the transmap. I have tried 15 different ways to Sunday in the Materials window, trying different combinations to see if I can get it to go away and "no dice". Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Could it be reversed normals in the mesh in that area?

I also tried loading the texture onto the .obj in UV Mapper and there are no black spots there. I'm totally stumped....

This could be caused by backfacing polygons: the P5 render engine is a lot more sensitive to polygons than the P4 renderer. Try checking some settings under Render Options (such as "remove backfacing polygons" and see if checking those options does the trick.

I'm using Pro pack and I don't see an option to "remove backfacing polygons"

Then its in your geometry. Basically those faces' normals are pointing the wrong way and so pro pack renders black for the other side. every poly face has a direction. In pro pack all poly faces are rendered by reveresed faced ones are rendered black. In poser 4 all polys are rendered and the material is simply reveresed on the poly. In P5 you have the option of not rendering any poly not facing the camera.
