Saw this link in the Vue forum. Might be fun for Brycing too. It generates a wmf file that can be used in many graphic programs and converted to something that Bryce can handle...LVS - Where Learning is Fun!

Ultra Fractal 3 is another good one. Exports *.bmp, *.psd, *.png, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.tga, *.tif, *.tiff.Melansian_Mentat posted Fri, 27 February 2004 at 7:11 AM
I only hope it's easier to learn than Chaoscope. MAN, that thing can be a pain... I'll try these if I ever get the time. Thanks!

I've never been able to get my head around fractals, but downloaded UltraFractal this morning, and I've been glued to it ever since, following the tutorials. Finally starting to see the light!!!! This is FUN!!!!!

Ha Ha, I've trapped another. Now you're an addict just like me. Now all you need to do is download Apophysis 2 to make flame fractals. Yhen you join the mailing lists for each. Be prepared for 50 to 80 e-mails a day, I use a seperate free e-mail account for the both so the wife dosen't get mad. Fractals are very addicting and fun.

I have Ultra! It's great isn't it and I have barely touched the surface of the program! Like the other person that posted I could play with this thing for hours! It has sooooo many options and so many ways to change the fractals. Then add to that the option of changing the colors - whoa! I used to belong to the mailing list but I just kept getting too much email! You can visit my fractal page though because I added some links - like where all the formulas/parameters are archived. I still have some that I haven't even had a chance to play with yet! http://members.aol.com/Roseb441702/fractal.htm I repeat - it's a great program!Ardiva posted Wed, 03 March 2004 at 9:03 PM
