I have been trying to use the particle emitter to create a splash effect. It looks quite good but I notice that the particles have not taken the transparency from the shader. I am using the same shader for a tub of water and it is definately got some transparency. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not possible?

Seems like it should be working. Can you post an image of your shader tree for the particle emitter? -Kix

You may need to turn on the light through transparency option in the render room.
