when I render my figures there's the shadow of what once was say the dress top, I dunno how to get it to "go away" please help!! It's too hard for me to do in post work so I am hoping for an easy way out...I'm using Poser 5. Thanks..

The shadow is there becourse the transmap isn't 100% black or becourse it isn't at 100%. Check the transparency settings, and look out for any falloff other than 0.0 Some versions of P5 had the falloff at 0.6, this could give the shadow you're expiriencing.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Also, it looks as though there is "poke through" just under her breasts.

In the material room. Select the dress and look for the neck/chest/whatever part. Then check the transparency setting on that :o)

And yes, Hauksdottir, I noticed that poke-thu too :o) But as it wasn't the subject for the question... Anyway, you must use the same morphs on the dress as you used on the character. Unfortunately this is the downside of Poser 5's elimination of cross talk - Morphing clothes no longer automatically morphs with the character.

Besides the transparency and fall-off issues mentioned above, also make certain the highlight and reflection dials are at 0 for the transparent area.

An easy trick to transfer the morph is to use the Ctrl-C/Ctrl-v technique.... Select the body of the figure, type Ctrl-C Select the body of the dress, type Ctrl-V Certainly it's a well known trick... but it help sometime to refresh a little bit memory ;-)
