There's a lot yet to change and add on this one (not least of which is adding several dozen angry Blackfeet warriors chasing our hapless hero), but I thought I'd upload this version to get comments and critiques: is there anything that pops out at you as just not good? Thanks... Quick backstory: John Colter was a fur trapper (and veteran of the Lewis and Clark Expedition) who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was forced by a band of Blackfeet to run for his life. Naked, but you already knew that from the pic. ;)

Well, he was dressed before the Blackfeet caught him!

What are those green flat leafed thingies on the ground??

Could be worse, could be raining.

LOL! They're supposed to be prickly pear cacti ...but they are also works in progress!

Ah, well I thought they might be ... just wasn't aware they had prickly pear that far north.

Could be worse, could be raining.

They made a movie like that based in Africa called The Naked Prey. Pretty good movie. The author's inspiration could have been from the L&C expedition?

I've seen prickly pear growing here in northern Illinois (If you don't believe me, hike the Dead River Trail at Illinois State Beach Park), so I'm pretty sure they can be found throughout most of the West and Midwest. I sure recognized them for what they were.
