What is the likely delivery daye of Poser 5 and Bryce 5? Bryce needs a scripting language like Poser, readable by people, so it can refer out to models and objects and texture maps instead of having to waste reams of hard disk storing internal copies of everything in that Area-51-impenetrable binary code that it uses. I recently set up a scene with 8 objects (4 people, 1 flamethrower, 2 walls, 1 road) and some textures, and the file .BR4 file was 24 megabytes long. I don't want too many of that sort of disk hog in my hard disk.

Bah.. that's nothing. 24 megs comprises one of my smaller scenes.. my biggest is somewhere around 300-350.. I average around 50 megs. I just wish Bryce would add more export options. Rosh

Scripting would be cool if it were like Maya or SoftImage's , their scripting tools kick major ass! Yeah and my scenes too average 50-500megs. My largest I believe was 780megs and illegal op'ed me out a few times while trying to load.
