Today as I woke up, I saw that my entire backyard was coated with snow - not just the ground, but also each piece of landscaping (or at least those portions the deer had not yet consumed), each tree, branch and twig. As I cleared my windshield, I realized this snowfall was the kind that made the best snowballs: heavy, dense and wet.
