Yep. You're adding a V2 skin to a V3 model. It ain't gonna work too well.

Well that explains alot, are there any free samples of V3 Textures out there that you know of?? and do i have the node attached to the right place?? thanks for the help

The node is correct. There are several free V3 texture sets out there. Look in Freestuff; there's quite a few.

You might want to change the diffuse colour to white, unless you deliberately intended to tint the texture. If you have a large collection of Victoria 2 textures that you'd like to recycle, I'd recommend Dark_Whisper's Universal Texture Convertor utility. Alternatively, you can remap Victoria 3 to directly use Victoria 2 textures with the free .uvs file supplied by DAZ.

I second Little Dragon. If you can afford it, Texture Converter Utility is really great. I also recomend the M3 plugin. I've found this program really useful

Look on Ecstasy's artist page, there are quite a few free textures. There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.
