Howdy folks! I uploaded an animation I made in Poser 4, any comments would be apreciated. The animation is at: http://www.infinityminusone.com/alleyway_01.mpg

Thanks!

Very good, except when the woman walks into the picture, her legs go sideways that can be fixed quite easily even if you have to fix them frame by frame, apart from that it is fine.

Nice job... as xantor says it's easy to fix the leg problem. Looking forward to seeing more

Very nice job! You got not only the primary movements but subtle secondary movements as well. Great job also on the audio. That's so often neglected but you've used it well. Suggestions: 1). It may be a good idea to show at least a little blood. 2). Continue the story - you've got my attention and I want to see what happens next!!!!! ;-)

Before they made me they broke the mold!

Thanks for the comments everyone! The leg thing was a big problem when I first did that shot, I tried to fix the worst parts but I was too lazy to do every frame. I'll have to pay more attention to detail in the next one.

The audio was a lot of fun to do. I actually went to school for film scoring so it was nice to be able to score my own stuff now.

I'm still working on ideas for the next one, but as for the blood thing, that just might be surprisingly explained in future episodes ;)

I'll probably keep going with the silent movie thing for now until I save up for mimic and find some cheep (free) voice talent

Oh well, back to work.....

The leg problem looks like a problem with the walk designer, where it expects the figure to be a certain height and when you apply the walk the figure is made lower and that causes the legs sideways problem.

Great job,I think it came out very well. I had the same problem myself heh, was cursing the program the whole time I fixed ( not perfectly ) the legs frame by frame myself. What program did you use for the film scoring? I am working on my second part to an animation I did and now other than just music making it more a music video than anything with mimic I will need to work more on the bacground, effects and hopefully a ambient music to go along with it.
