Just read a thread in the 2D forum asking about calibrating monitors. I've seen similar post by people asking how their image(s) looks on other peoples monitors. I know creating color profiles is a never ending pain in the a$$,when dealing with images that are to go to press (been there, dont want to go back there). But looking thru the Renderosity gallery one can see how disunified members have their monitors set. Many images apear either too dark or too light....very dull colors or overly saturated..etc. This could be easy to fix, and is my request... Could Renderosity set up a monitor calibrating page/link for all to use? All you would need is three test targets (contrast, brightness, and color temp.),and a few instructions on their use. This would aid both members posting images,as well as the viewers. It's not very scientific, but would bring everyone into the same ballpark. Thanks,SWAMP
