That's such a fun idea! And the textures/lighting on the chess-pieces is wonderful. What's the cause of the grey reflections on the black squares? Are they deliberate?

LOL!!! I love it! ddruckenmiller...love your sense of humor... I do agree with pogmahone..what are those crescented grey reflections on the black squares?

I like it also, what's with the gray on the chess board, are you using negative lighting?

Impressive - I'd guess you're playing with HDRI reflection.

Keep in mind the underlying perspective of the piece; not only from the standpoint that it is representative of a work in progress, but also that it is representative of our unending attempts to create realities within realities, frequently imperfect, and quite often at the expense of our attention to other realities - like the one known as real life. And even holding up a surrealistic, sardonic mirror to it all, and recognizing the parody for what it is, we will invariably continue on in the simultaneous and seemingly conflicting quests for differentiation and acceptance, with life imitating art and art imitating life, bending back upon itself and recursively shaping our common mental geography and shared frames of reference.

Amen! Man, that boy can rap! One question: is it possible to change the nano preview image? That would enhance the recursivity of the whole thing even more. What you've got so far is great. Can't wait to see the polished version (although your surfaces do look pretty highly polished). ;o)

LOL! It's great (wish I'd thought of it!). But come to think of it, even if I had, I doubt I've got the skill/patience to get even that far. Comments: Agree with bigbadelf re: the nano preview (even if it IS only appreciated by the Bryce community), but that's nit-picking; Personally, I'd like to see a bit less reflection on the sides of the 3D bryce box, but then again, perhaps not. Well done!! Cheers Diolma

Well executed composition and idea. I voted.
Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
