I wanted to clear up a few misunderstandings about our use of the member database. Most of the language in the Terms of Use are required to participate in the Burst ad network which is an important part of the revenue that keeps this site going. This site has never sold member data to third parties and will not as long as EdgeNet controls it. One grey area has been whether members would receive sponsor/vendor promotions as a result of checking the "Receive e-mail updates" box on your profile. We have decided to make this explicit and have just added another field titled 'Receive Special Offers and Promotions from the Sponsors of this Site?'. This option is defaulted to Yes. Please go toggle it off if you do not want to receive special offers from vendors/sponsors. Regards, Tim Choate

I have set this option to "no". I am now asking that you delete my membership, including all references to my email address and any other information related to my self from your databases, Edgenet's databases and any backup media you or Edgenet may have. This request is made primarily due to the responses I have read to members' concerns over recent developments. Greg Warsco
