What is the difference between focal lenght and perspective. There are 2 dials one for focal length and one for perspective. If you change one it creates a corresponding change in the other. I can't believe that Curious Labs gave me two dials which do the same thing. A friend suggested that perspective prevents the fish eye look when using focal lenghts less than 38mm, if thats the case how would I use the the two dials if I wanted to use the fish eye effect? There is no mention of the perspective dial in the documentation from Curious Labs. You will see these two dials when you have selected the main camera. Thanks in advance for any info.

Page 151 of the P5 manual may help. It didn't help me though! While increasing focal length tends to bring objects 'together' the perspective control should help you achieve visually correct angles to the objects in your scene ie: square boxes that taper unrealistically can be sorted by changing the perspective control - well that's my theory anyway!
