Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Have you tried an exorcist? More seriously, have you (don't ask me how) plugged a gel or texture into a light? I don't even know if it's possible but that's the only thing I can think of, other than demonic possession.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Soemthing like rendering figures inside a scenary figure/prop...you may get shadows from out of camera view things. Hope its that, I will get really scared if not:O Thanks Gmadone I didnt know (how stupid) the shadows cams yet.
Try deleting any shadow map files that might be still hanging around. They're supposed to be automatically deleted, but sometimes they aren't, if Poser crashes while rendering or something. This not only slows Poser down a lot, but can produce shadows of things that aren't there.
The new SR4.1 was supposed to fix this problem, but if you don't have the latest version, this could be your problem. Check your ImageIOPlugins and Prefs folders (in the main Poser Runtime) for temporary shadow map files. If you find any, delete them.

Hi ya, I've got a shadow of a person who is not in my scene showing up when I render. I've tried deleting the lights, and checked the camera properties, but nothing will get rid of it! Any suggestions? This is driving me NUTS!
