I have tried this in several different files, even a new file with only 1 object. Still can not see the production frame. I get the message box, and click OK, but that is all - no frame. I have tried making sure the camera is visible in 3D view, no difference. Help! Peggy

i cant explain it very well ,so here is an image.maybe you know what i mean.are you in the camera 1 view or in the directors camera view?change the view to the camera 1 view, then you will see the production frame.check the right site of carrara, maybe you have to activate =show object in 3d view=(see image),this should do it.

And you have checked the option in the view menu?

Doooh!!! I've been clicking on Production Frame, not SHOW Production Frame. Yikes! I hate it when there are similar menu items like this... Guess my brain saw the first one and I did not look any further down the menu. Thanks! Peggy

C3 tricked me into doing that a few times, too.
