First the good news.....it's just about finished, just the tutorial to write and it can be submitted for testing. The bad news is that we got a little carried away, and the zip file weighed in at 48Mb, without the tutorial...hmm. So, we're frantically trying to reduce the size of it somewhat, with the aim of getting to around 24Mb. However, we can tell you, that the pack will contain over 100 MAT poses, as well as 50 positioning poses. And all things being equal, it should be finished completely in the next day or two. To whet the appetite slightly, heres a few more test renders....

And, in keeping with the principles we've always maintained, this version is, once again, free to purchasers of the previous two versions. ;-)

If it's the textures that are inflating the zip size, could you offer hi and lo rez versions? In any case, I want it :)

Farside posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 7:36 PM

Put half the textures in the download zip and provide a txt file in the zip that contains a link to the rest of the textures. Others have done similar things.

Thanks for the input guys, we'd pretty much arrived at that conclusion ourselves...however, we did have a number of superfluous textures, which have been pruned out and with a bit of careful juggling in a couple of other places, we did get the final zip size down to 24MB....This is now in pending. We will also be making extra textures available grins naturally, as freebies, so the options for this package just keep on growing. Best wishes to all, Andi and Matt
