Okay, I've now completed the mesh for the squirt bottle. No textures yet, maybe later this evening or tommorow. I'd really like some C&C on the mesh, please tell me if you think anything looks out of proportion or just not right, materials aren't really a concern at the moment but if anything dosen't look right with them feel free to point it out. As always the ultimate goal here is photorealism, so please post any suggestions that you think would be helpful for moving the image in this direction.

k, i like it much better than the first time, but I still think that modelling wise a couple more things could be done. the pump thing should not be at an angle, and the squirter itself, or at least the entire part over the cap should be larger. aside from that, decent lighting, etc. drac

I would have initially agreed with you that the pump part shouldn't be at an angle, but my reference bottle actually has the pump built like this. I guess it comes down to the decision, what's more important: staying true to reference or making it look right? As for your suggestion about the whole piece above the cap needing to be larger, I'd say you are correct, it wouldn't hurt to be a little bigger, especially the nozzle. Maybe if I enlarged everything except the trigger?

Looks a lot better, and not just because you ditched the x-acto knives. Did you work on the materials as well as the model, or is that the effect of lighting changes? Now I REALLY want to see it as a chess set!
