As much as I like Bryce, and I have done some great renderings with Bryce, I want to know who uses AWB and WCS....these two programs have options that Bryce doesn't and create great landscapes.....below is a rendering made with WCS.....what do you guys think?

AWB - Can't really fault it, once you negotiate the learning curve and really start to experiment. WCS - Another good app, but I'm not too sure about the rendering engine, not for that money anyway. My view on Bryce (for what it's worth). For just plain good fun, it can't be beaten. I find that the more you put into it, the more it gives back. Martin

I have a terrain editor called Terragen - which I think kind of stands for Terrain Generator. It is a free download and I got it from hotfiles.com but it's also available on AOL. It is limited in that it does only create Terrains and you can't import objects. But it does make great terrains and once you have played around with it for a while you'll start experimenting with making/creating different ground and land materials.Magician posted Fri, 13 October 2000 at 8:35 PM
