ok, Im not really into this: I ve got the AMD Athlon XP 2000 processor with 256MB RAM(not very much), so my question is: what can I do to increase the speed of Poser 5? any ideas? thanks!

Oh gawd yes, I have the same processor and a 1 gig of ram. Huge difference and you'll love it.

If you are not already doing this, You need to run Windows 2000 or Windows XP as your OS. It probably won't affect speed but it is much more stable (particularly with increased RAM).

As above, I have the same, get more RAM (1-1.5 gigs) Use Win 2000 Pro (2000 sr3, reports that sr4 causes problems). Make sure you have plenty of fast drive space, defragg frequently and minimise the number of other programs running with Poser.

I have Sr4 with win2000 AMD 2800xp Barton and 1280mb of ram and have no problems at all
