Hi, I have a G4 mac and am saving for a G5. I found this link and I'm wondering if this software could be used to run clothing converter and all the other windows only utilities out there. I don't really understand what it's all about as I've never had a windows machine. If it does what it claims it can then most pc programs should work ok, but they will probably run much slower than they do on the pc.

I use an object converter on an amiga emulator on the pc to convert imagine objects to lightwave type as it seems to do better than most pc programs, it is a bit slower than the speed it would be on an amiga, but it is the result that counts. So if you don`t mind the programs being slower then wintel would probably be good.

You would still have to buy Windows XP or whatever, and that's the main stumbling block there.

The present problem with running Windows emulator is that they must contain support for the Graphics cards. Virtual PC remove this option after version 3. Clothes Converter probably would work if it wasn't for this amputation!

Hi, well it sounds like from the advertising at this link that the software would be quite fast and would do everything a windows computer would do, but then I'm not sure I understand it properly. It's been designed for mac. Love esther
