I have tried to use P5 metal in poser 5 and can not get it to work or show up in the program

This may sound like an obvious question but did you set it to render using the Firefly renderer?

I cant find the metal inside the program once I put it into the folders if i am doing that right

You put the materials into the folder Poser5/runtime/libraries/materials and make sure that they have a folder in that drawer too.
