A few folks asked how I got the skin/lighting effect in the "Mod" image I did for the Posertrax site, so I whipped up a quick step-by-step on the way I do a glowing skin effect using Photoshop's diffuse glow filter. This also contains a few tips for optimizing your Poser lighting for this effect. It's not much, and I'm no great post-worker, but I hope someone finds this useful! :D You can download it from my Renderosity homepage, the PDf is 750k, you'll need Acrobat Reader to view it. Pass it along to whomever you like, and enjoy! --Donnie

Thank you Donnie. I took a quick look thru it and I think you did a very good job! I'll try it out the next time I render.

A very nice use of an excellent little filter. :) (Until layer styles really were developed, filters were my favorite playtoys inside PhotShop.) Carolly

Filters are still my favourite playtoy in PS Carolly, it's like having an ever changing coloring book. 8) Catlin BTW, my mental age is still ten. lol 8)

I can't access the file, something is loading, then I just get a blank page. Do you need to enable Java to download it?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

For those having problems try right clicking and "save as" on the link. It worked for me. :)
