I WISH! Maybe Agent Kurt, er... Smith will sell copies of his notes.

Just once it would be nice to see one of these conferences held on or even near the East coast.

Sackrat, they had one in Atlanta, GA one year, I'm trying to get them to Denver, it's as close to the middle of the country, short of St Louis, you can get with a major convention center...

I will be at Siggraph this year. (yup, I live in L.A.) Definetely every day of the exhibition, and (fingers crossed) it may work out that I will be able to attend all the conference courses. If I can't, I am planning on at least attending the High-Dynamic-Range Imaging course by Paul Debevec (The HDRI guy) I WILL be taking pictures this year and be uploading them all for everyone to see. I read somewhere that Siggraph 2005 will also be in Los Angeles... AgentSmith

Hi AS, hope you don't mind my posting the conference, many here may not have heard of Siggraph. I'm hoping to go this year, hubby's parents live in San Diego and it's a short hop to LA. won't have time(or money) to go to any of the conferences though, but I definitely want to see the exhibition...:)

I hope that Renderosity offers free tickets to the exhibition again this year. I went last year (I live in San Diego), so LA is not too far.

They offered free tickets!? Really, I was trying to budget in the cost, but if I could get free tickets I might actually be able to go....:)

Yeah, Renderosity gave away tickets to the first 100 responses last year. (or something like that) I think each response could get two tickets. Me and my brother went lat year. ;o) But, this year, I might get some conference freebies. If not I'm gonna see about paying for that one.... AS

FYI - for the first time ever - SIGGRAPH offers a one-day registration ticket for a full day of training at a reasonable rate for the quality of education you can pack in a day at SIGGRAPH:
