Could someone please tell me if there's a tutorial teaching how to set up the material room in poser 5 to simulate a properly distorted image behind a magnifying glass or in the water, or please be even kindly enough to show me how to do this? I've been trying and errors for the whole night but without luck so far... Many thanks! Teyi

Basically, you create a Refract node, attach it to the Refraction_Color channel, and then set Refract_Value to 1. Do not make the material transparent ... the Refract node handles that on its own. You'll have to use the Firefly renderer, and must enable raytracing in your render options. Complex refractive objects might require higher raytrace-bounce settings.

I decided to start a new thread on the optic camo material. Here's a link to it.
