Just an idea I had....wouldn't it be a good idea to have an indication of how a particular HOT 20 image is doing? I figure that the information box on the left of each pic could have a big backgound ARROW pointing UP or DOWN, depending on what a pic is doing. The arrow could also point to the right (at the pic)if the image has stayed at it's current position for maybe a couple of days. Even better....A pic could have something to indicate that it's a NEW ENTRY.............. ????

Good suggestions. Let me throw one out here. I would like to see the number of votes in the gallery below the thumbnail, where the number of comments and rankings appear now. Then you wouldn't have to have an image in the Hot20 to see how many people have been kind enough to vote for it.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Bryster - kinda like pop charts mate, not 'alf! (Confusing all the non Brits now, and probably some of the Brits ;) Great ideas. Make it an option you can disable on your pictures though. And how about an ebot when one of your pictures makes it to the hot20? I didn't realise until someone had IM'd me that one of my pics had made it.

Really, something would be nice. I just checked the H20 on a whim and I'm at #5. (?) I'd have hated to miss what's probably a once in a lifetime event...

All interesting good suggestions, a few have already been put on "the list". (e-bot notification of your pic reaching the hot 20, an option not to be included for hot 20 voting, how many votes you have received, even if you are not in the hot 20) I'll add on the other suggestions. ;o) AgentSmith

I'm just wondering how long 'the list' is - I seem to remember the idea of an e-bot notifying you of your pic reaching the Hot 20 being mooted well over a year ago... might even be two years!

Don't know about two years, but it also might be something that is difficult to integrate. (hot 20 notification) The site techs will do major changes to Renderosity usually one area at a time. They've overhauled the galleries, and I believe they are slowly banging on the forums right now... I'm always keeping these suggestions, though. I want'em too! AS
