I'm new to Poser but I would like to produce Christian art for our church, presentations, etc. Can anyone recommend a source? I need everything: Models, costumes of the period, beards, posable hair. What I don't find I'll have to make, but like I said I'm REALLY new to this. Any assistance would be appreciated. Blessings, Doc Casey

The Props Guild on the sidebar might have several items of use for you, scrolls, early egyptian style tents along with some other egyptian style props, a thorn crown and various other items. Ken

Talk to Zygote, they have a clothing cd that contains robes and such you might find useful (I'm personally having problems with the Milwoman clothing pak but that's probably just cause she's new). Also they are from the bible belt if I am not mistaken and may be willing to assist you in this matter since it's for a good cause :) PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

I always thought the bible belt was on eastern time unlike Zygote...Where are those wonderful angelic like Poser wings someone did some time ago? Was it Housaki that did them(I may have the name wrong)? If anyone has any information about them could they please post it here for dcasey to find...

There's a manger and shepherd's crook on my site at www.sandylodge.demon.co.uk. There are also chains and shackles if you want to do the Israelites in slavery etc. Maz

LoL Zygote is in Utah, Morman country. I believe the Bible Belt is in Oklahoma. roflamo Get the Zygote costume cd, not that expensive and worth the money. Also you might want to check out the CD's on www.poserworld.com they have some good stuff. They also have lots of stuff for free on their site, and the fairywoods site has cool stuff too that you can probably use. Marque

Hi. Here's some help for you. If you go to www.turbosquid.com and go to 'Characters' page 18, you'll find a Poser character of Jesus on the cross. It's priced at $30. Should be worth it as it's a real Poser character. DON'T pass up turbosquid, it's the biggest props and character resource on the net. Many items are free too. I haven't finished looking through the architecture section yet so there might be a stable somewhere. Also, go to www.poserworld.com where you will find Jewish Poser (male) characters in period colourful dress, as well as Roman characters and props too. However, poserworld is a subscription site, so these aren't free, BUT WORTH the joining fee, every cent. Take a minimum subscription and download the characters you want. I think that www.renderocity.com or www.propsguild.com have a free crib available. Look through propsguild free sections. I'm pretty certain I saw a crown of thorns head prop there. Might look good as a graphic for a title page. Hope that's of some help to you. I'll keep an eye open for other items for you, as I'm interested too.
