I have downloaded the furry friends mouse from daz3d and want to know how I can put the mouses head, feet and hands on the poser guys body? Also is it possible to get the Michael 3 clothing to work with the poser 5 guy or should I just save and get Michael V3 and Vicky V3? also since I have the low rs Michael 2 figure and vicky 2 figure can I get the M3 clothing to work with them? By the way, I'm on a mac, incase that makes a difference. Thanks. Pedrith :)

Q1 : yes but : - you have to alter the mesh, either by using a modeling program, or by exporting the mouse's head and hands, then reimporting them as props and then exchanging these body parts for these newly creatd props -then you'll probably have to adjust the joint parameter settings Q2 : it is possible, but : -you'll have to alter the mesh, either by using a mofelling application, or by using magnets -you may have to alter the grouping, either with the grouping tool or in a modelling proggy -you'll have to modify the joint parameter settings Q3 : not much more easily than for Q2. Hope this helps.

Thanks Complier, but I have no idea how to alter meshes. What I did was resize the item to fit the character. But how to I lock the item onto the character, so when the character moves the armor moves with it? Thanks. Pedrith

Your best bet would be not to conform it but to parent it. Select the armor's hip and parent it (object>parent) to the mouse's hip. Pose the mouse. Select the mouse's body. Edition > copy Select the armor's body. Edition > paste Tweak the armor's pose so that it matches the mouse's. This assumes that you want to make still images. Best wishes.

Thanks again Compiler, but will this work for animations (walking, fighting etc.)?

I'm not into animations, so I'm not positive on this. I'd say try to repeat the same procedure at each node (or whatever you call the frame when a neat change occur, I mean not just the calculated frames in between). If Poser calculates correctly between the nodes, it might well work. You may try to ask support from an animation master, though. How about IMing Geralday or Ockham or paging them in the forum ? They are always very helpful. May be Ockham could come up with one of its magical scripts (if you'r working with Poser5 or Poser Pro pack).
