Could someone explain how to use the Downloads Library in the Library Palette? For instance: I have added a Sub Category Animals under the Category Figures... now I want to add a Cow... When I import the Cow as an OBJ (file type) into the scene and get it set into position... I can add it to the Library... but then when I have it highlighted and try to add another to the scene from the Library it adds another Don figure. Any answers appreciated. This has baffled me all day. Thank you, Susan

I'd like to help but your question confuses me. Could you explain that again? Mayhaps with a screenshot or two?

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe the downloads category was intended for use with Content Paradise. If you import an obj file, it can only be added to the Props library. Downloads is part of the Figures library, which is wqhy it won't accept it. mac

You are 100% right... I discovered that only the Props Library accepts OBJ files. The futzing around with it for a day caused me learn more about working with cameras though... so it was worth my efforts to keep trying. I'm sailing along now. Thanks for confirming Mac, Susan

LOL. Making mistakes is a great way to learn. I know all about that. OK. The thing with the obj/props is this. If you want an obj to be a posable figure, you have to rig it, that is, set up the bones for movement, etc. An obj is one solid piece until you give it groups and tell poser how to move those groups. So saving it as a prop is fine, because all props are single pieces anyway. That's the quick explanation. But it's good to know these things for future reference. mac
