I ordered it in February, and finally got the call yesterday that it was shipping out and would be here today. I can't wait, I will use it for the first time at the Rennfest 2004 tomorrow it's one of the largest Porsche events there is. It's held one every three years. Randy - You do know that I've never liked you, right? :P Oh the jealousy ... oh oh. hehehe. Too sweet. On paper the Mk II looks like a beast - looks like Canon really outdid themselves. Ok I got up early and Michelle my wife was sick, so I had to skip the Rennfest. I did get to go and get some photos close to the house I just had to get some time in with it. Some impressions from the fist brief usage, are that the AF very fast I was using 9 point center AF in servo mode it locks up quick and holds AF lock better that the 1D no question. Donald the ETTL ll seams to be a large improvement also. Randy
