Has anyone here used a Fuji finepix F700? I've been checking out some reviews, and this seem to do most of what I would want, and more or less fits my price range. Has anyone any hints or advice if this is a worthwhile buy? Any help would be most appreciated.

I haven't used it, but it's one that I'm considering. There's a lot I like about it...four AA batteries is great...I can buy rechargables anywhere. The 6x optical zoom is awesome, as is 6.3mp. Plus it has a hot-shoe and you can put other lenses on it and some other nice higher-end features. The only thing I don't like is it's big...I want something that has good features but is the size of my mom's Kodak DX4900 point-and-shoot :) I found a good deal at buydig.com, which has good reviews as an online store. $424.00 after rebate!
