I have Poser 4, and would like to learn how to make my own SUPER-HERO characters. Is it all done in Poser ? Are there any tutorials on how to get started ? Are there any other " specialist " programs that can assist with this ? Thank you.

heya...a good place to start looking for tutorials on this subject would be the 3d comic collective at: http://www.3d-cc.com They not only have oodles of superheroes available for download they also have tuts and other great things which all go towards making your own superheroes. Regards Eshal

Thank you, I will go and visit. Are you permitted to use characters downloaded from the internet, to use in your own pics, which then go into a gallery online ? I understand that no commercial gain can be made from using these characters, but I'm not clear on whether pics using these characters can be posted by me to the galleries ? And if the " read-me " texts don't specify CREDIT to be given, do you then, not give credit ? What does " don't redistribute " mean ? Does that mean commercially ? Thanking you for your help.

Here is how I do understand this. I do not think that posting pics here means that you use a freebie in a commercial way, otherwise you could sue us all here.... Don't redistribute means exactly what it says - you may not give the mesh to anyone. Even if it is given way for free, the author does not want you to do the same. You may not give the model to anyone, everyone who wants to have it must get it from the download places the author provides. Hope this helps....
