I like the intesity of the second one, but the color of the first.

The last has the best moonlight, IMHO.

darken the third one a bit, and bump up the contrast a little and you got a winner. The color on the second one is not too "moon ish".

You're just about there. I like the first one best, it should be dark. Maybe increase the blue in your lighting a little bit to give more of a night time feel. Perhaps add a blue global light on a low intensity setting. Other ideas - find a different reflection map for your armor - a good chrome or platinum one, to make it look more metallic and less plastic. The pose of the left arm looks a tad awkward - try holding something like a sword in that position and see how it feels. I think maybe bring the sword away from the body a bit, and make the angle less horizontal. Finally I don't know if it's on purpose, but the facial expression is a bit muted. I don't know if that's the intent, but it looks like he's in a ready pose, and as such there should be a little more tension in his face - maybe add a little smile and snarl/disgust to get the cheeks up and the mouth tight, part the lips a bit more to show the teeth better, a bit of a nose wrinkle to accent that, bring up the lower eye winces some, and maybe add some more frown to the brows. Hope this helps, Unzipped

I agree with unzipped regarding the armour and the pose of the sword, but would add that the weapons might benefit from more shininess, too. Not quite so sure about changing the blue lighting, but how about darkening the background (Moonlit night skies are black, not grey, 'cos otherwise there's no moonlight:-]); possibly add a starfield? Or a looming (almost invisible) castle? It all adds to the contrast:-) BTW - are you using P4 or P5? (I have P5 and might be able to give you some help with textures if you do too, but I don't know P4 much) Cheers, Diolma

I'm using P4 with ProPack. (Two 10 year olds keep causing me to spend the money I keep trying to save up for upgrading...) Okay, darker background ; I'll experiment with a castle ; and I'll try to get better reflection / metal-ness for the armor and weapons. I'll try the other recommendations as well. Thank goodness I keep incremental saves - wm1, wm2, etc. Again, Thanks all! And when I get home tonight I'll give some things a try.

Oh cool! I have photoshop, but I've been using Corel PhotoPaint. Mostly 'cause I just haven't gotten myself to go through the hassle of uninstalling it, and that I've used it for so long I know it pretty well. I can do the above in PhotoPaint as well. I'll give it a try. Hadn't thought of doing that. ;)
