You are going to find the poser community is very tight with its dislike for wares, your request will be looked at as exactly that. So you should not be surprised by the previous responce. Judy is only available through the purchase of the software, and is not legally downloadable.

CL's EULA forbids redistribution of any of the files in Poser. The only way to get Judy is to buy P5...

I guess jerrylambert's had his ass banned by now, anyhow. RO's TOS forbids solicitation of warez.

nutzo poser content on the cd's is licensed to CuriusLabs, and therefor they enforce copyright. Since many of the artists here make content professionally (myself included) we feel VERY strongly about piracy. Poser content can and often is used in other programs, so technically your point is invalid. If your CD is missing or damaged you should contact Curious Labs with your serial number and they'd be more than happy to replace it. Er ..that is assuming you have a legit serial number. You have a legit serial number, right? Plus its a Very Bad Idea to insult members of this board. You never know who's watching. Chances are you've just shot any chances of ever working with any of the people who've read this thread. But then again, if you advocate theft, it hardly matters, now does it? You can use judy in poser 4 and maybe in poser 3 too, so you don`t need poser 5 to use it.
Gareee posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 7:15 PM
Well, yeah you do, at least to get the model... ;)

hey now, wait a second... I thought it was called Poser becuase at the time it was created, it was a miracle of a program that allowed you to pose 3d objects -- specifically people -- in a very realistic fashion compared to what was available at the time. In fact, as I recall, ALL the big players int he game immediately went to work developing their own systems to do so, and all o them bear a strong resemblance in the core methodology to what Poser does. Mostly becuase they did it first. And I'm in before lock. dang how cool is that! lol (ps -- they ain't power hungry, hon. They Are enforcing the rules that you have such contempt for.) (PPS -- were you aware that the language and manner of your efforts in defending your position actually weaken the arguments themselves? Nothing personal, but virulent language will get you banned in most forums, and behavior like unto a trolls is pretty indiciative of educational lapses.)

"In fact, as I recall, ALL the big players int he game immediately went to work developing their own systems to do so, and all o them bear a strong resemblance in the core methodology to what Poser does. Mostly becuase they did it first." I think Alias/Wavefront may have pioneered the rigging/IK technology for characters that is used in Poser. I do not think it was invented with Poser. In fact, I recall the original Hash Animation Master having a rigging system around the same time Poser 1 came out.
