Is there anyway to simulate running water in Poser. Like a lake, that the characters can interact with? I've finally made on of my characters (hair and everything) and am wondering if I can save him as a figure. If I save him will the dynamic hair and clothes save with him, or will I have to recreate his hair and clothing each time I want to use the character? How do I animate the camera? I figured out how to get the guy to walk, but it does me no good as soon as he walks past the camera. Can I make the camera follow him. On a side note once my figure was outside of camera range the render time dropped off quite a lot. :) Thanks for all your help. I might even have a pic or two to post in the next few days. Pedrith :)

I did see someone simulate a waterfall once with Poser 5 dynamic hair with a water material applied, of all things. I believe you can save dynamic hair just fine - just parent it to a prop, and save the prop. The "skull caps" are great for that. Yes, you can save a character and all its props together. Not sure about animating the camera. Maybe you can make it "point at" your figure, the way you can make props "point at" other props. Hope this helps, and have fun ignoring the trolls!

You can reposition the camera and set keyframes just as you can for figures and props. Make certain you enable animation for the camera beforehand (the little key symbol next to the camera controls).
Poser 5 doesn't normally have fluid dynamics, but the MetaForm plugin by Weird Juice can give you that feature. It's sold at DAZ 3D.
